Baby bird update

I took this picture of the birds on Friday. It is getting crowded in that nest!

I went to check on them Saturday and they were out of the next and spread about the run-in.

Momma bird was trying to bring them bugs but was having trouble finding them. They all grouped back up together Saturday and Sunday night. They spent all day Saturday and Sunday in the run-in learning to fly. One even landed on one of our chicks back! Of course, I didn't have the camera, but it sure was cute!
Today, they were all gone. I guess they learned to fly well enough to move on. We enjoyed having them around, especially once they started learning how to fly.

What a fun thing to watch and photograph. Maybe you'll have someone return next year.

How neat it must have been. And they sure raise their little ones quickly. Hopefully one of them will remember your place next time!

Looks like a fun John Deere ad in that last photo. hehe!

Baby birds are fun to watch. It's even better when they live in your barn, eh? :)
