Thanks for taking me along.
It's funny how chickens are about food---they have all that green grass and bugs galore, but want chicken food.
The guineas are a hoot.

That was a lot of fun! Right away I commented to my daughter how you could have your barns so far away from the house because you don't have to worry about trudging through snow. That must be nice to be able to enjoy the animals year 'round. I don't spend time out in the cold - just feed them and get back in! At first I thought the guineas were so cute and we should get some, but then I started to realize that their little squawks could get annoying. I'll have to think about it. Beautiful chickens you have. I miss mine so much.

Christy, what a fun morning, makes me excited for next year and our first year of chicks.

By the way I am a really bad prize sender and I need your address for the giveaway you won and embarrassingly long time ago.

That was nice and fun Christy! You have a very nice place!

Gayle, the guineas are loud! If you have neighbors, they aren't a good idea. I personally love them, even their loud noises but we have no one around to complain.

Echolage, I will email you. I too have prizes to send out from a long time ago. I'm embarrassed about mine too. I think I'll take your courage to heart and email the people I owe prizes too.

I had not wanted guineas again because of how loud they are, but listening to your video brought back fond memories and really they are very good at keeping ticks down! And just a few wouldn't be bad at all. Even so, I think I will stick to chickens! lol

That was a fun video to watch. All of your chickens and guineas are cute. The goats are too, of course. I envy your green grass. Thanks for sharing your morning routine.

Christy, the guineas have really grown. I always love hearing our guineas but we don't have any close neighbors to complain about them either.
The sheep are beautiful!

Do ya'll get much rain up that way? We didn't get nearly as much as the Atlanta area but enough to fill the ponds back up.

Have a great weekend.

Read back a ways, saw Dusty, he is a Silver Spangled Hamburg. Hamburgs are so pretty to me. :) Glad he was okay from the hawk attack. Enjoyed the video! :) Sorry about the meat birds.

Awwww, I felt like I was walking along beside you! That was so wonderful! Boy! Thoe guineas are LOUD! Silly birds. Do they eventually fly over the gate or fence to be fed? lol!I also enjoyed hearing your voice talking to all your critters, like Dr. Doolittle. :)

ps How are you doing? Have the rains and flooding affected you there? I've been worried thinking about you after seeing the news. It's been to long for an update. Please hurry up and let us all know you're ok, ok?
