My babies have layed nothing but purdy perfect little tiny eggs. Of course, they are Seramas, so if they gave me a large egg....I would be quite shocked :-)
Oh my, that's funny! It does have a straw!!!! When my chickens first started laying I got one that kinda had a straw-like, long skinny part. Here's my post:
I had to return to this blog to have a good laugh this afternoon! I still think it looks like a balloon with a straw! What's that little brown line across it?

I have heard of drinks in a pineapple coming with a straw, but never an egg with a straw. Who or what laid that one?

I have seen ALOT stranger then this. These are just an anomally that happens from time to time and normally in newish layers.

We didn't eat it. If I had thought of the straw thing, maybe we would have eaten it.
The egg is blue, it came from one of my Americanas. I have heard of eggs with tails, I guess this is what they mean.
