Hungarian Paste Tomatoes

I got my first ripe Hungarian Paste tomatoes this week! Aren't they pretty with my cat in the background? My Amish Paste are covered with green tomatoes so hopefully I'll have some of those ripe soon too. The sweet olives are still producing ripe tomatoes every week. Those are the powerhouse of the tomato world.

I'm not much of a tomato eater.

Gorgeous tomatoes and, next to your pretty kitty, absolutely divine! Mine are all still green... :-)

Awesome! They're gorgeous! I LOVE tomatoes, and my daughter eats them like apples - which is actually kind of funny to watch ;). I'm looking forward to getting some ripe ones ... hopefully soon ;).

I can't imagine not loving tomatoes. Just think, vegetable soup with tomatoes, chili with home grown tomatoes, tomato sandwiches,etc...
I haven't grown the Hungarian Paste or the Amish Paste. I bet they can/preserve well and make a great sauce.

Oh, I'm envious! My tomatoes are a long way off yet, I think. Enjoy a few for me, will you? :)

I actually don't like tomatoes much but I made a delicious salsa with my tomatoes.

I started my tomatoes in March under lights so they've had a long time to develop.
