A visit to the farm

We went to visit our friend out at the farm a few days ago. It had been a few months since we had been there, which is a shame since she is so close.

We were there the day these turkeys arrived. They've grown so much! I really think turkeys are pretty.

Logan bottle-fed the front sheep and the back sheep when they were babies. They are so beautiful now, I love the horns.

This is Senate, the lamb Logan was working with back in April. She is as un-friendly as always.

Logan walking around with the sheep.

One of the momma's with pretty flowers in the background.

Back off sheep! These are MY hens.

Roosters are beautiful too!

Great pictures! It makes me wish I wish I was on a "real" farm, too!

Hi-
My friend Sondra told me to check out your blog - we're in a similar situation - trying to sell and have farm dreams too! We're in Ga already but want to be closer to Athens. Hopefully we'll both be moving soon! Small world - I recognize some of your commenters!

Great photos, Christy!

I'm so glad that you guys went back to visit the farm again. Good reminder that your farm days will happen. Don't lose sight of that, k?

I'm amazed at how fast those sheep have grown. The roo and sheep picture made me laugh. hehe

So lovely! Those horns are just too cute. I know I've said it before, but Logan is so lucky to have these experiences--and such a great mom, too.

It was a great day. It is amazing how much the sheep have grown! They are still smaller than full-grown, I'd be sad if they were full-grown already.

It's funny how quickly things change on a farm. Great pictures!

All of the pictures are great but I love the one with the big rooster. He didn't try and chase you too, did he?...lol..
I know it won't be long before you will be walking on your own farm.
Have a great day.

Pam - All her roosters are very friendly. But she has too many of them, I think a few are going into the pot soon.
