Last weekend was perfect, 60s and sunny (don't be too jealous, it got cold again). So, we spend most of the weekend outside. We went to the Botanical Gardens, watched our alma mater lose a softball game, and hung out with the animals a lot. We also finally tried out Logan's Christmas present.
It worked way better than we thought it would! And it was LOUD. We had a great time shooting potatoes into the neighbor's pasture. Don't worry, no potatoes were harmed in the making of this video, at least no good potatoes. We got them out of the dumpster we share with our neighbor.

Nothing like a good tater gun! Glad you had some nice weather to enjoy!
that is awesome
Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving a comment. I've just enjoyed your blog as well! ;-)
You may like my 'in the house ' set up for my chicks but I'd sell my soul for a COOP (or two ~ or three...) like yours!!!
OK, not really my soul, but you know what I mean.
;-)
If you're shooting them into the pasture with the cattle, they'll enjoy a little potato snack. :)
Wow! I am going to ask for one of those next Christmas. Wonder if I could plant potatoes with this.
I love tater guns! Good clean fun.
I haven't seen a tater gun in years.

I raised two boys. Anything that shoots, explodes, or makes alot of noise/mess. Glad ya'll enjoyed the weekend. Sounds like we may be in for more snow tues.
I'm definately NOT going to show Winston this bit of technology that you have on your farm. He's been after me for a while to build one.. HA! Looks like ya'll had fun.. :)
I got a potato gun as a graduation gift a bunch of years ago. Best gift I've ever gotten =)
Gail, I like the idea of using it to plant potatoes. I wonder how that would work out?
That's cool that your neighbor doesn't mind you shooting old taters into his pasture. I guess cows won't get sick if they eat them either, so no harm done.
Our neighbor plays golf and shoots his balls into our pasture and backyard. We don't like it very much, though.
My sons would love a tater shooter. Jax loves his rockets. Anything that goes boom and takes off into the sky is cool!
I was listening to your voices and you already sound like you've turned into locals. You've got that sweet Southern drawl, missy! hehe!
