Only 2 weeks!

We move into the new house in 2 weeks! We are taking care of all the final details here, it is our last week in this house. I'm finally really getting excited!

This week's pictures are of the pasture.

This is the start of the pasture, it is totally fenced and even has a pen set up for working the animals.

The middle of the pasture.
The end of the pasture. It has a few trees and a seasonal creek.
Looking back up at the house from the end of the pasture.

Looks like a great place. How's the water situation in your part of GA?

Lisa - the whole property is 5 acres, so the pasture is 3.5-4.

Warren - I'm not sure what the water situation is there. We haven't moved yet, when we were there in July the grass was green, so I guess that is a good sign.

Wonderful! Having fences is a great start. I have a wonderful friend that lives in Aline or close to Metter.

Too cool, Christy! Just too cool. I am so excited for you. Do you already know what kind of animals you are gonna fill that pasture with?

The pasture looks fantastic. Can't wait to see it for real when we visit. I'm so happy for you.

Wow, it looks great. You'll be pleased that so much of the work is done already in terms of fencing, gating, etc.

I'll be looking forward to seeing more pictures and hearing all about your adventures.

It is exciting and getting so close now. I am really glad the fencing is already done. It was a big selling point for this place. We still have a lot to do, but much less than we could have.

We will be getting chickens first and then a few milk goats come spring. Sheep will follow but possibly not for awhile.

The pasture is looking green. I know there was more rain in North Georgia than here.
It all looks so beautiful.I am excited for you and your family.
Good luck with it all.
Have a great week.
