More lambs

I hope I'm not boring every one with the lamb pictures.

After watching the new baby for about an hour the other day, Logan and I went out to the orchard where the mommas and older babies are.

Here is Loretta coming for her bottle, this is the one Logan was bottle-feeding a few posts ago. She is still the only bottle baby on the farm, which is good.

Logan giving Loretta her bottle.
One of Loretta's sisters just hanging out.
A cute little black and white lamb, this isn't the one we saw just after it was born, so she has a few of these cute guys running around.
This little guy was very inquisitive and came right up to Logan to see who he was. And way back in the field we ran across this group of lambs. I thought this one had really nice coloring.

We spent a good half hour or more just hanging out with these lambs and their moms in the orchard. It was so peaceful.

Those are some great pictures of the lambs, especially the little black one, I can almost smell them from here behind my counter...wow I'd rather be out there than in here under the florescent lights.

Those are some of the cutest pictures. The little babies are sooo cute! Makes me wish I was sitting out in the pasture with them instead of sitting at work. thanks for sharing all your photos.

Aww....so cute! You guys are lucky to be getting all this hands on experience. It'll come in handy some day! ;)

Not boring at all. I love babies!

I soooo wanted a black sheep (for obvious reasons!), and she's my favorite and the only one who will let me pet her after a year of working with them.

I totally thought you were feeding that lamb Pepsi.

Danielle - I hope to have friendly sheep someday. I'm not sure how you get them that way, bottle babies maybe?

One of mine was a bottle baby, but she never let me give her a bottle. I think it just depends on the animal and the time you spend. Having a big herd like the woman I bought them from makes it harder to spend the time petting and getting to know them.
