Empty house

We are sitting here in an entirely empty house! The movers got everything loaded today. We are sitting on the floor and will be sleeping on an air mattress tonight on the floor. We are getting the carpets cleaned tomorrow (a few pet stains that need to be taken care of) and then we are out of here! Our 8 days of homelessness starts tomorrow. Closing happens here on Monday. I'll post another picture of the new place Monday after closing is officially done in Delaware.

Logan said to tell you all he doesn't like being in an empty house. He is having trouble finding ways to entertain himself.

Vaya Con Dios (Go with God)---safe travels for your whole family. I hope for a stress free 8 days, as much as possible.
Don't know what to tell Logan. Wish I had some magic game he could play to keep his hands and heart busy.

WOW! It's done! Well, almost. What an adventure! Be safe. Good luck. I'm looking forward to hearing all about your homelessness for the next week and all of the adventures that will entail, and then seeing lots of pics of your NEW FARM!

Wonderful! You must be excited and nervous all at the same time. You all will adjust wonderfully here in Athens, there are great people here! Can't wait to meet you.

I know how those empty houses feel. It won't be long now but I also know that will be a long 8 days.
Good luck with it all. You will be a Georgia Girl before you know it.
Tell Logan to hang in there, before long he will have so much to keep him entertained.
Good thoughts from Georgia.

Oh, my gosh! You must just be on pins and needles! It's happening! It's really happening!

And now the adventures begin!

I can hardly wait to see all of your new farm animals and your garden ;).

But I am kind of sad to lose one of the "suburban" homesteader-wannabes :). There are so few of us out here ... probably, there's a reason for that ... but don't tell me what it is ;).
