Chickens like cameras!

We went out taking pictures last week and decided to get some of the girls. Here is my view of the proceedings.
And here is Logan's view.
Anytime we go out there with a camera the chickens have to put their faces into it. Do you think they know what it is and want to be sure we get good close ups?

Hmm...it does make one wonder. Is it only us humans that think they are cute or do the chickens themselves realize their cute factor and love the camera....

Those are good pictures! Logan really got a good shot.
I think they like the close ups. They make for some cute cover girls.

they are wondering if anything good to eat in it.

Maybe they see their reflections and think it is a new friend. :-)

I remember my cats trying to swipe at the other cat in the mirror when they were kittens.

Do they peck or just "check out" the camera? Either way, that second pic is awesome!

That's pretty neat. My goats do that, it's hard to get good pics of them lol

Chicken closeups! What better way for people to see a chicken. Good job, Logan!

Better watch out, next thing you know they will be taking pictures for themselves.... Have you ever read Click, Clack, Moo?

As for planting peas now. They can withstand some frost. If you wait much longer, it will be too hot by the time they start to bloom and they will not do well.

I swear, I do think that some chickens are natural supermodels! When I showed cattle, I had one champion heifer who just loved to strut her stuff and to be photographed.

Buff Orps are truly big goofballs every time a camera comes out. I love those photo's! Is it that green there now?
