Breakfast nook and muck boots

Here are the pictures of our breakfast nook.

Looking at the table from the kitchen. There are 3 sets of windows in this room. It is my favorite room in the house, the view is amazing!
The view from my chair.
The view from Logan's chair.
The view from Mark's chair of the screened in porch.

Lisa wanted us to post pictures of our muck boots. Here are mine. They are already mucky as you can see. That red clay is something! Logan likes when we got out in the morning and the muck is frozen.

No farm is complete with out a beautiful view and pretty but dirty muck boots!!! Beautiful nook, I wish i had one of those myself! I think that I need to knock out a wall between my dining room and the "mud" room, its wasted space and would work so well for a little nook like you have! hmmmmm mind is now spinning a plan!!! Shame on you! Look what you've gone and done, now I'm gonna have to add that to my wish list! LOL ;-)

Christy, your breakfast nook gets the most gorgeous sunlight!! Such a warm room - lovely! What I want to know is, though...how are you *feeling* about all this? Are you thrilled beyond belief? Feeling a bit overwhelmed? Amazed that you're finally in your dream home? C'mon...share the feelings! :-) :-) :-)

Ok Christy, when I come to visit, and I'm sitting there sipping my brew, please let me sit there all morning, ok? I don't think I'd ever want to leave that beautiful kichen nook EVER!

Well, maybe to go outside to feed the cows some bread and carrots, or throw some scratch to your cute chickens or play out in the green grass and red clay with handsoem Logan.
But at least let me sit there for a while and take in those gorgeous views.
Do you ever have to stop and pinch yourself? Is this really real???

Thanks for sharing your muck boots. Yours are just the kind I love, as you probably realize. So fun, funky and cheery!

So, if you want to, come pick up your 'blog-tabulous' sticker. Your blog totally qualifies! :)

I'll share feelings in a future post soon. But all of the above covers it I think!

Lisa - I'll let you enjoy the views for a bit before I put you to work ;). I do love to sit there myself. You can see the chickens walking around their yard from the table.

when you are owning a farm, then it is not a bad idea to buy a pair of muck boots,as they can handle these mud very easily.
