Look what we found in the pasture yesterday! Woo hoo, spring can't be far off now.

And another psycho chicken picture just for fun.

Logan took all the pictures in today's blog.

The daffodils are budding here too! I love it. Also some of the early native plants are starting to bloom!

I just came across your blog, searching for other homesteading/self-sufficient living blogs, and I love it! It looks like you have a lot of the same kinds of goals in mind as I do. I am eagerly doing my best to learn to live self sufficiently, and as a Southern California city girl, I have a lot to learn out here in the country!! I thought you might be interested in some of my posts called Lessons From Butterberry Farm, where I've written about all that I've been learning from an incredible homesteading woman who I've met. If you go to my site: handprintsonthewall.org, click on Topics, then find Lessons From Butterberry Farm. They go from newest to oldest; it's best to read the oldest entries first to get a better understanding of things. I hope you get a chance to check it out... I've learned so much about farm life, gardening, herbal remedies, and tons of homesteading advice! I can't wait to check out more of your posts! Thanks for sharing :)

hehe Psycho chicken! You're funny, Christy.

Hmmm, lovely daffodils. I wonder if goats like the taste of them?
