Another Miracle!

Turns out the eggs I found this morning were from yesterday. Logan and I went out to visit with the girls this afternoon and found 2 more eggs!

Just think, four more days and you will have a dozen!

I still get eggcited when I find eggs, but what is really eggciting is finding a hidden nest full of eggs with a broody hen in the spring.

That is great!
I still find it exciting to gather eggs everyday.
You can make an omelet now.
Good job, girls.

lol!! Now how did I know your girls were going to start laying, eh?

That's so exciting and wonderfully ironic that I told you that your hens would start laying eggs...and then the very next day...they did!

All of my hens treated me like a rooster before they started laying. It reminds me of an animal going into heat, which causes ovulation. Makes sense, eh?

I'm just so excited for you!! I bet you had a huge happy face when you found those eggs. And Logan must have been thrilled, too.

If I could dance, I'd do the Happy Egg dance for you, my beautiful friend!!

Congratu'egg'tions!!!

Wheeeehaw!

Congratulations on your girls finally laying eggs. I have been gathering eggs for about 7 months now and find it to be a rewarding miracle each day thanking my hens.

Hurray! After nearly 1200 eggs, I'm still just excited when I gather them as I was back in September when they laid the first ones.

It never gets old. It never gets boring. It never becomes a chore.

And doesn't it feel absolutely wonderful when you hold a freshly laid one in your hand? It has to be one of my favorite things in the world.

Congratulations!

Congratulations to your girls !!
Collecting eggs is very exciting - perhaps you can let one of your hens set on a few and hatch your own chicks. I bet Logan would be so excited about that!

Have a good weekend ~
