Needle felted sheep

P of Maggie's Farm inspired me to finally try needle felting. I've only had the stuff for over a year. It was actually really fun and easy! I made this little sheep. I didn't have any black wool so it is a gray sheep. I've seen sheep this color. Sorry the pictures are a little blurry, my camera is awful at up close pictures!

The needle felted sheep is so cute!
I still think you need to sell on Etsy. You are so creative!
Have a great weekend.

Christy,

You have a real knack for fiber arts, my friend. I agree with Pam. Consider opening up an Etsy shop. I'm sure you'll do well.
And the proceeds can help pay for your future animal menagerie :)

Pam and Lisa - Thank you for the wonderful compliment! I certainly don't feel talented, but I do enjoy working with fiber. Good thing I'm going to get some sheep huh? I think I may open an Etsy store. I just need to get some better pictures of my stuff.

Melody - Basically you poke wool over and over with a sharp, barbed needle. The wool clumps together and you can shape it and attach other pieces. It is much easier than crocheting and knitting.

How sweet! Did you use a single needle or one of those tools with multiple needles?

Hey Christy,
About that Polish Rooster, that's alright. You know Bad boy Rooster was a Golden Polish? Plus the one we kept is just as mean.
Our Polish hens are not real good layers. We hardly get any eggs from them.
I do have a grown Buff Orpington Rooster that has a limp. If you want him to go with your girls, you are welcome to him. He is in with the call ducks right now because the other Buff rooster fought with him.
