This is Kudzu's favorite trick. She jumps on my back whenever I crouch down and perches on my neck. Sometimes on my head!

Backing up to get on my head. I can't wait until I get chicken poo in my hair!

She's queen of the chickens up here.

Buttercup hasn't tried it yet but always looks on with much interest when Kudzu does it.

Buttercup will soon follow! It is wonderful how much you are enjoying your fowl.
She is so funny!
LOL! I have had a bottle baby goat do this.
No, maybe a bluegill or a carp. ;)
This brings back memories of having chickens when I was a kid and I love the name kudzu. Lord knows I have seen enough of that in my life.
My Mojita does that, Mojita frets that she may miss out on a morsel of food, so she tries to get first in line and have a good view.
oh a goat thought, if you could get a mother and young doe would be good, you'd already have a milker and another one coming along.
I think they are showing you who is the boss!

Joanna - That is actually our plan for this spring. I figured that way I could just milk once a day and have company for the milk goat.
Gail - They are just beyond fun!
Christy - They are definitely boss!
Jimmy - Thanks, I always preferred bluegill myself.
Christy, please blog about buying in bulk from Amazon.
Hey Christy,
Yep you're a chicken sister now. Got a chicken on your lap or head and you qualify :D
Is that your new coop??! I want to know more. Did you build it yourselves? What size is it? What's the layout?
Very cool!
Nice digs!

PS, thanks for the cheery little ladybug you sent me. What a wonderful surprise! It totally cheered me up and is sitting on the table next to my bed, You did a terrific job on it. Love the googly eyes and the perky attenae, too.
Thank you for thinking of me, my dear friend :)
Is that a new chicken coop I see in the pictures. When did you build it? Cute picture of you with a chicken on your back. I think Kudzu loves you.
Lisa and Mom - Good eyes. It is a new coop. I'll post about it soon. We didn't make it.
Lisa - You're very welcome. I hope it brightened your day some.
Ah, chicken poop is known for being a nutrient-rich, luxurious hair conditioner, don't you know...why, even the A-list Hollywood stars are clamoring for it these days! :-)
Whenever I am sitting down in the pasture (usually in the summer when the grass isn't soaking wet)taking pics of my crew, the chickens will stroll over and a few will take turns jumping up on my shoulder and head....I'm sure to see if the view is different! :)
You CAN wait until you get chicken poo in your hair, trust me. :)
