The old neighbors moved out a few weeks ago. The place sat empty for awhile.
Finally, earlier this week the new neighbors moved in. There are 4 of them living over there now, but 1 is shy.
We went to welcome them to the neighborhood with treats.
They were very appreciative.
This one even gave Logan a kiss. It seemed a little overly friendly for new neighbors, but we are friendlier in the south.

I love your new neighbors. At our old house in a rural neighborhood, our lot backed up to a cow pasture and there was a family of three donkeys. I used to give them carrots. Then they got to the point where they would be out there waiting for me.
Pretty paints, they'll be fun to visit.
ha ha, funny post! Those would be simply lovely to have as next door neighbors! I love the last photo - Logan and the black and white horse are smiling at each other! :-)
Adorable!! Logan looks like the happiest kid alive, Christy. :)
We too have some neighbors like that. I love horses, love 'em even more when someone else takes care of them. I get the best of both worlds that way. They never say too much and are always friendly.

The new neighbors are cute!
It was nice of Logan to welcome them with treats.
We call that kissing stuff--giving some sugar. lol...
Have a great day.
Pam
Well of course the Tobiano Paint was more friendly. Paints have that reputation, you know.
That one reminds me so much of my mare, Baby Doll. Makes me miss her something fierce!
Lucky Logan to have so many different kinds of critters to chat with and visit over the fence.
Just wait until you all get llamas, goats and sheep. Logan (and you) are going to the happiest you've ever been.
Caring for critters does that to a person :)
Love ya!

I don't know what made me remember this, but one Sunday when we lived in KY we got to church late (okay it happened more than once, but this particular incident only happened once).
I asked my son Jared, then about 4, what his church teacher said to him about coming in to church late that morning. He looked at me and in his best Southern drawl said, "Well, hi there, Sugar!" He wasn't even trying to be funny, or serious, or anything. He was just telling me what she said. It tickled my funny bone!
I wish I had neighbors like that!! ;o)
Love it! I thought something completely different. At least your new neighbors don't talk back or do they?
Christy
Adorable! They look like they have some percheron in them! built like my mare molly....thought of some more farm names if you havent picked one out..this post was my "inspiration" LOL

Lovely neighbors! I see Logan is making them feel right at home.
Kyfarmlife - I love those names! We'll see what the male folk think.
Lisa - The black and white one was a big begger! And kept chasing the other horses away. I had to distract him with a carrot so Logan could give treats to the other horses.
Wish I had your new neighbors. LOL They sure are beautiful
I love your new neighbors! Can't wait to meet them. I'll trade them for my neighbors any day. Is Logan going to learn how to ride? They really seem to love him. :)
My blog reader lost track of you for awhile and I figured you weren't posting any more...glad I decided to check on it directly..I had to resubscribe...anyhow, I lik eyour new neighbors too!
Glad you're back Warren! I've missed your comments.
I'm trying to post pictures of my Skewbald (red & white) Gypsy Cob Draught (Gypsy Vanner), though I was told that she ought to be a Tribald as she has black bits as well. Do your paints have extra names like Skewbald, Piebald & Tribald? I posted (or thought I had) a comment about my red & white mare this morning, but blogger ate it, so I'm redoing it. Rawnie pangle will be my picture for Jan 16 IF I can get the page to load
Rawnie Spangle with an S! That was me on WP as blogger refuses to let me post photos
What lovable lugs the new neighbors are.
Annon goes mad with delight every time she sees your "mad cockerel" icon. She's just screamed at it again ~ is this really the antics of a sane 12 year old, or have I corrupted her?!
I was only going to say that I've finally got Jan 16ths picture up on WP until mad daughter joined in
How cool! You get to love on them all you want.
I'm jealous, your neighbors look so nice and friendly, better than my human neighbors, HAHA!
I wish I had neighbor's like that
